The Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2021 is committed to transparency in all procurement processes, both in the recruitment of members for its teams and in the choice of the partners needed for preparing its work properly and for the success of that work.

 

The expenses associated with holding the Presidency are significant. To respond to the day-to-day needs of the teams and delegations, work meetings and events, the Presidency has signed sponsorship contracts in some areas.

 

All the sponsors of the Presidency are Portuguese, with recognised sustainability and social responsibility policies.

 

So far, the Portuguese Presidency has signed three contracts for in-kind sponsorship, to meet the needs of its events: Delta Cafés, SUMOL+COMPAL and The Navigator Company.
