Much could be said about Mário Soares’s trajectory. His contributions are etched in history and in Portugal’s relationship with the European Union. As a posthumous tribute, the College of Europe, the prestigious European teaching institution, appointed Mário Soares as the patron of the 2020-2021 academic year.
