The Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union will be organising the international seminar on “Hybrid Threats, Including Disinformation” on 15 April, at 09h00 (Lisbon time). The session will be closed by the Portuguese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva.

The seminar, which will be in digital format and whose programme is available here, is basically aimed at reflecting on the subject of disinformation, its influence on democratic societies, how to fight this threat and methods of detection and mitigation. This initiative is the result of the joint efforts of the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Portuguese Internal Intelligence Service, under the scope of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU.
