Portugal's Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2021 can be found on the following social networking sites:

 

The Presidency looks forward to a productive dialogue on these communication channels. You can use them to keep up with its work, follow its live streams and share any comments, using the hashtag #EU2021PT.

 

For this purpose, we would ask all users to comply with certain netiquette principles:

  • Respect all users equally
  • Be polite, friendly and respectful to all users
  • Respect the opinions of other users, even when they differ from your own
  • Whenever possible, comment in the original language of the post
  • Don't comment with links and/or spam or commercial content

Contents Policy

The following will be silenced, reported or deleted from the Presidency's social media:

  • Content that is in any way discriminatory, racist or xenophobic
  • Content that incites hatred or violence or that violates the rights of third parties
  • Abusive, graphically violent or obscene content
  • Content that is false or without proven facts
  • Content that breaches copyright or property rights
  • Content that promotes spam or links of dubious origin
  • Content posted by dubious or fake profiles, or by bots

User responsibility

Interaction with the Presidency's social media implies that the user recognises these principles.

Any breach of such principles and the legal framework in place may cause the user to be excluded from the discussion.

Any breach of the channel's acceptable use policy will be reported using the platform's own procedures.

Please note that users should bear in mind at all times the terms of use and rules of the different platforms:
