Through Portugal’s Ministry of Finance, the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union is promoting a high-level conference on the Recovery, with broad participation from EU Finance Ministers, European institutions and academia. This event will contribute to reflection on the post-COVID-19 European economic recovery. The Recovery Summit will also be launching discussions on the future of economic governance in the EU and the need to rethink the European budgetary surveillance framework.
