Meeting of Directors-General for Territorial Cohesion

The Directors-General for Territorial Cohesion of each EU Member State and Partner State meet once every six months at the invitation of the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

This meeting will also include representatives from selected European Union institutions and cities, for example from the European Commission, the Committee of the Regions, the Council of European Municipalities and Regions, the European Investment Bank and the European Observation Network for Territorial Development and Cohesion.

The aim of the meeting is to establish high-level intergovernmental cooperation on the main -challenges to territorial cohesion in the European space.
