The 11th EU-Cabo Verde Ministerial Meeting was an important component of the Special Partnership established in 2007 and aimed at holding regular political talks on issues of common interest. The Ministerial Meeting will analyse the main progress made in the implementation of the Special Partnership and will deal with current regional and international affairs that are relevant to both parties. The meeting will take place in Lisbon on 29 June, in hybrid format, and will be chaired by the Portuguese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, representing the High Representative/Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell.
